I am trying to setup up a new email account on a windows
98 computer running outlook 2000. When I go to setup the
new account it brings up the internet connection wizard
instead of the choice between exchange, pop3 etc... I
made sure the default email client was set as outlook I
am at a loss and have never had this happen before. It is
joined to the domain.

It could be that Outlook is in "Internet Only" mode and if you want to
connect to Exchange you need it to be in Corporate/Workgroup, if you can get
Outlook to start go to Help > About > and see what the second line says

I have a similar problem on an XP machine using Outlook
2000. It only gives me the option of setting up an
internet mail account only. Did you ever receive a fix?
