Exchange is currently in recovery mode

Hi, I have Exch 2003 running on Server 2003. Workstations are Win XP with
Office 2003 and a few with Office 2000. All is running ok but a couple of
users ONLY are getting the error message below. I have searched the Knowledge
base and TechNet and not found anything.

As I said only a couple get this message.

Thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions.

"Exchange is in recovery mode. You can either connect to your Exchange
Server using the network, work offline, or cancel this login."

This means that the cache file (ost-file) doesn't comply with the Exchange
mailbox. You are now asked if you want to connect to Exchange and see the
Exchange mailbox contents or to remain offline and see the ost-file
contents. This allows you to recover mail from the ost-file if they are not
on the Exchange server anymore. When done you can delete the ost-file and
have it rebuild the next time when you start Outlook.

Yep, that fixed it. I switched caching off in the profile and closed outlook.
Deleted the outlook profile via Control panel and then recreated it again.

cheers
