Dear,
Thanks for the info.
I like to have all the users should download their mail in
to outlook (as .pst) instead of reading directly from
server. And I have one or two roaming users for them I
think Webbased mail is ok isn't it?
Exchange over VPN is much slower on 128Kb leased line -
correct?
How secure "web based mail" ?

Hi Anver,

Why do you want them to store their items in a pst-file when you have an
Exchange server? State your reasons and I'm sure I can find lots of counter
reasons or otherwise Lanwench will help me with that ;-)

Whether webbased is sufficient for these user depends on their needs but it
will do for lots of users.

Exchange over VPN with a 128Kb leased line isn't fast indeed but it also
depends on how much bandwidth you are using already.

Webbased mail is very secure when you are also working with certificates and
otherwise I suggest you do not publish your website to the outside world and
then have the remote users connect through a VPN connection and then use the
OWA website with its internal address.

Although I have quite some experience with Exchange as well you also might
want to try the Exchange newsgroup for additional information.
