Exchange in recovery mode

When starting Outlook, the message beginning with "Exhange in recovery mode"
is displayed. If I choose to connect to the server then current email is
available albeit with latency. If I choose to work off line, current email in
not available. Is there a way to resolve this recovery mode issue so that my
offline mail is in sync with my connected mail?

This state usually occurs when there is some problem with the maibox or the mail profile. Did you recently recreate either one? Have you asked the Exchange administrator what's going on?

You may wind up needing to work offline and export all your mailbox folders to a .pst file. You can then create a new mail profile and import the data from the .pst into what may be a recreated mailbox.
