Exchange Error 4021

Just finished a restore of Exchange to a new test
server. Unfortunately, the IS services won't start now -
I suspect it's because the logon account is set to the
administrator account I setup, and not the exchadmn
account the real Exchange server users (I couldn't
restore Active Directory because of a whole host of
issues because the real server and the test server are
completely different animals).

Any suggestions? Am I just wasting time not finding a
way to restore AD first?

Hi

Start the Microsoft Exchange Administrator program and select the Site in
which the IS will not start then click Properties from the File menu.
After that click the Permissions tab, and give the Microsoft Exchange
Service Account the Service Account Admin. Role. For more information on
