set-up an exchange server account in outlook....would not work
correctly....so outlook would immediately close when i started it. tried to
delete the exchange account an said it couldn't since it was default. so i
added my pop3 account and set it as default. it made me create a new personal
folder. now it still won't let me delete the exchange account becaus it says
it is copying information from the file into the new default folder but it
appears to be doing nothing. worse off my pop3 shows 73 downloaded emails but
only the junk mail is viewable. it has been like this for a week now.
somebody please help!!!

Uninstalling has no affect on your mail profile settings. I would suggest that you use the Mail applet in Control Panel to make the changes you want -- BEFORE you start Outlook.

If you are seeing blank messages, disable the email scanning feature in your anti-virus software. You'll still be protected by its other features and by Outlook's own security.
