Exception 3 freeze

As a Court Reporter I use my computer with my steno
machine plugged in with Case Catalyst software. I'm
typing away at my steno machine and I get an Exception 3
message and my computer freezes and I have to shut it
down. This could happen three times a day.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Never heard of an error like that with WinXP, have you checked with the
software maker for possible known issues?
