How do I stop the virus scans every time I open an exel file?? It wastes a
lot of time

tools-options-security-macro security
set security level to low.

be aware of the risks of turning this off.

If setting security level to low doesn't work disable your anti-virus
program before running Excel. Again beware of the risk.
