Can you link Excel to an Access table(s) and update the table(s) from Excel?

If so where do I start looking? I have seen in Excel that can link to database using MS Query, but cannot see a way to update Access table from within Excel.

As long as the worksheet is laid out with columns like an Access table, you
can link directly to it. Choose File ... Get External Data ... Link ... then
change the file type to Excel. Now the table is the Excel worksheet and can
be queried from within Access exactly like an Access table, and updated
directly from Excel.
