Excel - SHARE WORKBOOK issue

Hi folks, I've actually done my research & test several
methods prior to posting here

Here's the scenario

I've SHARED my workbook with 2 users (per se), and we
edit the cells...what isn't the editing LIVE? For
example, I've edit a2 = $14 and John Doe edits a3 = $15
but I don't see his $15 in cell a3 nor does he see my $14
is cell a2 even though we've saved our workbook. The
only time you will see the changes is when you open up
the SHARED workbook again

If anyone can shed some light on this issue would be
greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you so much for reading

Thanks again

Jack,

My Excel 2002 help states:

Seeing other users' changes Each time you save the
shared workbook, you're updated with any changes that
others have saved since the last time you saved. If you
want to keep the shared workbook open to monitor
progress, you can have Microsoft Excel update you with
changes automatically, at timed intervals that you
specify, with or without saving the workbook yourself.

So it seems like you need only do a save to get updated.
(other versions may work differently) Under Tools/
Share Workbook/Advanced tab are choices for automatic
updating...

Good luck.
