Excel hyperlink loses its path on save

How can I make Excel 2003 keep a hyperlink after I save the file? My address
is to a server and starts with \\servername\filename.pdf. When I save it and
open the file again it's changed to ../../filename.pdf. Help! I have hundreds
of links that I keep resetting.

I believe you change it at Tools -> Options -> General -> Web Options -> Files

Uncheck update links on save
