Excel has caused an error in User.exe.

When I open excel 2000 I get the following message, Excel
has caused an error in User.exe, and the machine locks up.
I've
Closed and restarted the machine.
Checked for viuses.
Reinstalled office.
Removed and reinstalled office.
Screamed and yelled.
Sworn at the bloody thing but it still does what it
wants to do.
Has anone got any ideas for a semi literate computer user
like me.
I dont even know what user.exe does.

Fixed it. The problem was not with excel but with the
user log in. I deleted that user and started again now it
seems OK.
Feel reasonably proud of my self being a computer
neanderthal.
