Hi Newsgroup

I have a strange problem. When I double-klick and
Excelfile (XLS) in the Windows Explorer it's opens Excel
first, then loads the file but seconds later the Windows
Explor comes back to the foreground. This is very
annoying. I cannot reproduce the problem and I searched
other website for this problem without any result. I also
have checked the different option in the Explorer and
Excel.

Has anyone heard of this strange behaviour? If so, who has
an idea? Any input in highly appreciated because I don not
want to simply reinstall the machine of the user.

Kind regards

Thought 1: What happens when you merely single-click a file in Explorer?

Thought 2: On the off-chance your file associations are screwed up try
resetting them. From Start->Run enter "Excel.exe /regserver" without
quotes. There is a space before the slash.
