Either you or someone else posted this a while ago. I responded and
asked: what is the virus/malware status of this computer? If you think
it is clean what programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?
I don't believe I got an answer, or I missed it.
So I'm asking you (if you in fact are the Original Poster) again.
Make sure your computer is virus-free since the symptoms you describe
can be caused by a virus.
If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).
It was me who posted this message before. I'm sorry I thought this was
a different group but turns out to be the same one. I will run a
Virus/Malware scan next time I am at the site as her Norton is expired
at this point.Thanks.
