excel does not print text after sp4

have a windows 2000 server with ad windows 2000 pro with
sp4 and updates working fine printing to network printer
thru server \\servername\sharename installed sp4 on server
and updates. the next day people can print from programs
the problem is in excel 2000 and word 2000 excel will not
print cell values it will print borders. in word most of
the documents are in arial font i change this to times and
it prints. Tried that in excel and that did not work will
not print times (new roman) another wierd problem is that
in word it was not printing the logo on the top of the
page. (bmp or jgp picture) now it is???

reinstalled same drivers, updated the drivers pcl and ps,
recreated the printer and share, tried new printer and
share, same problem did not work. updated the printer
drivers on workstation. (did i mention this problemis on
all workstations)

BUT as a temp fix i setup the workstaitons to print
directlly to the printer works fine. setup a new tcp/ip
port on the workstation.

my mistake i left the old printer that went thru the
server on th pc and the user was picking that printer.
the tcp/ip direct to printer is working I would like to
get the server up and going.
