Excel Cross cursor

On a worksheet my cursor in the shape of a block cross has turned green and
wont go back to white. This happens on new excel sheets as well.Is there
anything to reset it?
 
Its ok now, PC restart cleared whatever and now the cursor is white again!!
hooray!
