Excel crashed and I havn't not able to get it started again.

....I attempted to open an excel document this morning and
recieved the following error message:

Oh drats!!! So I rebooted (several times) - which did not
help... Re installed Excel 2000 - which did not help...
Went to add/remove programs, clicked office 2000 and chose
to "repair" office - which did not help... Then removed
excel completely from my computer and reinstalled it -
again, this has not helped??? I am still unable to open
an excel document or excel itself.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
