Excel autofilter problem

When auto filter is clikced above a column, it shows only "all", "top 10" and
"custom" as choices, leaving out choices from columns below. Cannot hide
autofilter arrows when highlighting columns and clicking autofilter icon.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Sorry, not with the second bit, but on the selections in the list, do you
have a gap between the headers and the data, if so, Excel will not see the
data as a 'list'. It must be contiguous
