Excel add in

I recently installed a Data Analysis software program on to my Windows XP.
The statistical analysis are performed by the addins.Unfortunately the add
ins are not working,
I was told that it is a problem related to OFFICE 2003 rather than the
software.
any ideas of making the darn thing work

Did the company that supply the "addin" offer it as being compatible or
intended for use with Office 2003?
