windows add in

I recently data analysis software.It provides add inns to perform various
statistical functions.
Unfortunately I am unable to utilize the add in.
The company claims that it may be a glitch with the Microsoft Office 2003
settings.
Could anybody help

As in "Data Analyzer" from microsoft...Data Analyzer actually is a Microsoft
Office add-in,also,you might chk the download section(s) i believe thiers a
current update or two.You can get more info at:

If that company "claims" the Office 2003 has a "glitch" in it, should they
provide you with a solution/work-around to get the software to work?

A lot of software companies generalises that the problem exists in Windows /
Office. This seems to indicate that they are un-willing to take
responsibility and "fix" their software. It is a lot easier to "blame
someone else" or "pass the buck!"
