Running Excel 97 in the facility. Have several workbooks that contain links.
Can the links be set to automatically update during certain times of the day
in addition to when the file is opened?

You could use application.ontime to run a macro that refreshes the links.

Record a macro when you refresh the links, then use the instructions at Chip
Pearson's site to run that macro when you want:
