Excel 97 to 2003

My team are currently going through a big technology
upgrade which includes migration from 97 to 2003
applications. I would be grateful if anyone could point
me to any resources that discuss any issues with
converting Excel and Access applications from 97 to 2003.

Many thanks.

Excel isn't much different. Before buying Office XP, I attended a Microsoft
seminar; the speakers explained that most of the changes from 1997 to 2002
were relatively minor, and were designed to make it easier for users to
avail themselves of little-used features. I started using Excel 2002 the day
I installed it, and had no transition trouble at all. Ditto Word and
Outlook.

I don't use Access, so cannot comment on that.

Just a word of warning. If you're team is transitioning in stages, you'll still
want to develop any application (or update any existing) using the older
version.

There are new features added in each new version (duh?). Using these new
features (developed in xl2003) may break xl97.
