Excel 2007 exits when selecting Add-ins

I am an instructor at the Air Force Academy. We are using Solver in class.
I have several (6-7) students who can't load the add-in in 2007. Every time
they click on "Add-ins" on the Excel options menu to load the add-in, Excel
shuts down. They have been to our computer support and they have uninstalled
and reinstalled Excel, but it still does the same thing. This is a real
problem for these students.
