Excel 2007 Calculating issues on 2003 workbook

Hi,

I have an interesting problem, I have a speradsheet which has some VBA code
in it and was created in Excel 2003. It run fine in 2003, when changes are
made the code runs OK.

When I open it in Excel 2007 the spreadsheet starts to calculate but it
takes between 10 and 15 minutes to calculate. I have gone into the trust
centre and trusted the spreadsheet so the code does work it just takes an
unacceptable time to run. The same spreadsheet works fine in 2003.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Are there any settings I need to change?

Further Information, what appears to happen is that when I open the worksheet
the first couple of calculations takes 10+ minutes to do, then it speeds up,

If I save the spreadsheet when it is running OK then re-open it the problem
returns

Have you tried saving it in Compatibility format?
