I can't get Toolbar customizations to 'stick' in excel 2003.
I open the customization dialog and add a new button or
menubar item. During the time the customzation dialog
is open, the change is visible on the menu or toolbar.
As soon as I dismiss the customization dialog, the toolbar
reverts to its previous appearance.
If I then reopen the customization dialog, my changes
magically reappear in the toolbar, up until I dismiss the
customzation dialog again, at which point the toolbar
again reverts to its default state without my customzations.
Is there a setting somewhere that forces toolbars to
ignore customizations?
