I have a user who is trying to make a very simple form on an excel
spreadsheet --mostly text boxes, a check box or two. She finds that she can't
tab from field to field, though -- the cursor goes from cell to cell. I find
I can only tab from field to field in design mode -- are we missing
something easy?

If you unlock the cells you wish to allow to be edited and protect the
worksheet, you will tab between editable cells. I'm not sure if there is a
way to set the tab order. By default its across first then down to the next
row.

Kurt, I think this was my enquiry Lisa referred to. I'm familiar with
unlocking cells for form fill-in protection. But the check box form fields
just float over the cell location. If you land on the cell in the normal form
tab progression you can't use the space bar to check the box - anything you
enter just affects the underlying cell. Is there a way to have the check box
replace the cell?
