Whilst running Excel 2003 in Remote Desktop a client gets an error dialog
'Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.' Excel then restarts and shows the workbooks that can be
recovered.
This is happening for two users who are both RDPing to their office PCs via
a VPN. They are logging in to two different XP PCs from separate Laptops/PCs.
They never get this error when working directly at their office PCs.
It's not a major problem in that they have never lost any work, however it
is very annoying!
I've searched the MS Knowledgebase and also Google but not found anything
that appears relevent. Any help or resolution is much appreciated.
