Excel 2003 - Acquire text Command

Excel 2003 includes two commands on the File menu bar: "Acquire Text" and
"Acquire Text Settings". I think they may be related to the OmniPage OCR
software on my computer, but I can't find any information about these
commands in the Help file.

Any clues?

they seem to be from Omnipage Pro. Have a look at Omnipage's help file.
some information about them (from their helpfile):
- Acquire text settings: Sepcify settings used during recognition
- Aquire text: Acquire image from scanner or text
