Why does Excel close me out after working only 3 sheets?
When I start a new page, it will only allow me up to the
3 default sheet...

You can have more than 3 worksheets in a workbook. If you want every
workbook you open to contain more than 3 sheets, select Tools, Options,
General and indicate how many sheets you want in a new workbook.

You can always insert additional sheets by right clicking the sheet tab and
selecting Insert, Worksheet.

Hope this helps

What does "close me out" mean? Does Excel quit or crash?

What is a "new page". A new workbook?

The default number of worksheets ina new workbook can be set at
Tools>Options>General at "sheets in new workbook".

You can have up to 255 sheets by default.

In existing workbooks, you can insert more by Insert>Worksheet.

More than 255 would create a very large workbook if you were using all sheets.
