Excel 2002 Document Not Saved.

When trying to save documents to the file server I get
Document Not Saved, Disk is full error messages.

But If I try 30 secs later it saves OK, or if I repeatedly
try to save it finally saves. It will save OK again the
next few times then the errors come back.

This happens to multiple spreadsheets in multiple folders.

From what I can tell the network is not dropping out as I
only have issues with Office applications.

I get the same error message eventually (after 60/70
saves) on new spreadsheets I create.

We have the same problem with word and I've noticed the
connection to outlook pst files located on the file server
drop out every now and again. But when I restart outlook
all is ok.

Any idea's?

The article which was not answered is more than two weeks old (2004-02-05)

Those reading directly from the Microsoft newsgroups servers probably
only see postings going back to March 8th as of today. Interesting that
Microsoft Communities loaded up their servers differently than
the actual Microsoft newsgroup servers. There are also some users that insist on
attaching to servers that retain only a few days worth of newsgroup postings.

There are at least a few MS KB articles with "Disk is Full" error messages
involving Excel, check my webpage for some of those links.:

The excel.setup newsgroup is not one of the high traffic sites among
the Excel newsgroups but it is active.

You can do your own searches of newsgroups and the MS KB

Same Issue said:
I am having the exact same issue while trying to save a document to a network drive. The network drive has 220GB free, and small
files will save fine. Anything I try to save that is over 135KB will error out with Disk is Full. I can save the file to another
network drive fine, and I can copy it over to the network drive in question without any problems. I can save files from other
applications without any trouble, as well.
