I need to lock one column that can only be modified by one person. Can this
be done?

There's nothing in Excel 2000 to set user range permissions. That feature
was added in Excel 2002. fyi.

In Excel 2000:
By marking all the other cells (accept the one column), and mouse
right click -->Properties--->Format cells-->"Protection" tab and remov
the check in "locked"

If you know choose Tools--->Protect---->Protect worksheet, every cel
will be locked accept of that one column you didn't mark.

Sorry, it was suppose to be:

"If you know choose Tools--->Protect---->Protect worksheet, every cel
will be unlocked accept of that one column you didn't mark
