Excel 2000 - displaying multiple files

I'm running Windows & Excel 2000. When I open more than
one Excel file, it places each spreadsheet on top of the
same Excel spreadsheet icon, in the Windows toolbar. It
used to display each spreadsheet as being open separately,
but since it has started "stacking" the spreadsheets, it
is frustrating.

Tools>Options>View and check the Windows In Taskbar option.
