Everything sounds like the chipmunks

My computer is new and I don't really know that much about it. The problem is that any voice mms, music or video sounds high pitched, like the chipmunks. I have no idea why this is, it is really annoying, and I don't know how to fix it. I can't listen to anything , everything is high.

Have sence, patience, and self-restrain,and no mischief will come.

Sounds more like you have an audio utility running in the
background like AudioRack or something. This comes with a
pitch control, which makes all sound sound very fast.

Since it is a new computer, contact the seller, it is their problem.

What player? I knew MS media player has an option to speed up the play.
Maybe that option was somehow selected, which can be easily changed.
