Everything showing up in Marlett

I posted about this a couple nights ago. Somehow all of my fonts were
removed, so everything showed up in Marlett. I managed to copy the fonts
from another computer which temporarily solved the problem. Upon rebooting,
everything was back in Marlett again, even though I still had other fonts
showing up in the font folder. I ended up reinstalling XP which has solved
the problem for now. Anyone know what caused this, and how I can avoid it
in the future?

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
