Everything has locked me out

Hello First to everyone, this is my first post here....

Well it seems that outlook has locked me out of all the functions. I have
been using the calendar and the task functions for the past week. Everything
was working just fine, then yesterday:
-When I want to add an appointment to the calendar, it wont let me. (say I
right click on the date I want to make an appointmane; it will show all the
options but the "Make New Appointment"/"New Recurring Appointment" will be
gray and I cant choose them.
-Also if I want to modify an exsiting Appointment it will let me go in and
change things but then the "Save and Close"Button is also gray and wont let
me click it.
-Even the Task and Notes wont let me add new ones even though I can view all
the previouse ones.
What can I do, do you thin I accidentaly changed a preference or what.....
Thanks for the help -Tarek

Any chance you are using a trial version of Office/Outlook? (Note: I'm
assuming you are using Office/Outlook 2003)

If you where using a trial copy, then yes, you have to purchase a copy of
the product if you wish to continue using it past the trial period. This is
what I think you have because the product line doesn't let you create new
stuff, but does let you read/access your data.

Outside of that, OEM (Dell, Gateway, .etc), Retail (Local computer store),
or Volume license copies of Office do not expire. Most that can happen here
is that your product key gets tagged by Microsoft as invalid. If this
happens, the product shuts down within a couple of seconds of launching.
