After updating Office 2003, every time I use Word, when I close it, it
automatically saves file in 'Templates'. How to switch this facility off?

If all your documents are being saved in the templates folder, either you
have set the templates folder as the default folder for documents (Tools |
Options | File Locations) or you are creating all new documents as
templates.

Or are you saying that it saves Normal.dot at exit? If that's the issue, see
“Word prompts me to save changes to the Normal.dot templateâ€
