Event Warning with MSFTPSVC

I checked the event viewer and found 1200 entries within a 20 minute
span that all had the following warning:

Date: 10/7/2006
Time: 5:49:46 AM
User: N/A
Computer: COMPUTE
Description:
The server was unable to logon the Windows NT account 'Administrator'
due to the following error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad
password. The data is the error code.
Data:
0000: 2e 05 00 00 ....

This has happened to me one other time a couple of weeks ago.
Could this possibly mean someone is trying to hack into my PC?
And what is, "MSFTPSVC"?
