Event Viewer

Hello all,

Anyone ever come across this: in event viewer you can see
all the logs but you cannot see the events in the
application log. The app log does show that events are
getting logged, just can't view them.

Any clues/suggestions? I've rebooted the server with the
same results.

Thanks!

Tim,

It sounds like your Event log may be corrupted. If you are on Windows 2000 do you have SP4 installed? If so, see the
article below.

829246 - Event Logs Are Corrupted

You will still need to remove the logs and allow them to be recreated. The update the article talks about only prevents the
files from getting corrupted again by this cause.
