The Events are unrelated to your connectivity issue. If you do not
use Broadband, then it would be best to disable the Intel PRO VE
network adapter. The message simply means it (NIC) was unable
to acquire TCP/IP parameters and cannot locate/join a network.
Trying to have a working/"Trouble-Free" PC using Symantec/Norton
software is like strolling through a mine field. Sounds like the PC
needs a cleaning/tune-up as you seem to have a number of issue(s)
that would affect performance.
Is this a new PC that came pre-installed with NAV-06 or did you
buy and install it yourself ? New OEM (Dell, Gateway...) come from
the factory will all kinds of Value-Added junk that loads down the
PC and affects performance.

Hi I use windows xp professional edition with norton antivirus
2006.Lately the computer freeze right after i lose the internet
connection.I use a dial up connection.In the Event viewer under System i
found an error and a warning
