Warning/Disk in Event Viewer

What makes and models of the drives. Did you drives comes with disk containg
drivers?

I've recently changed computers and removed my old internal backup drive and
put it in the new computer, as well as installing an external drive.
They both seem to be working fine but I was just looking at Event Viewer and
noticed several of these "Warnings"...
"An error was detected on device\Device\Harddisk2\D during a paging
operation" and
"An error was detected on device\Device\Harddisk3\D during a paging
operation".

Do I need to fix this and if so, what's wrong?

Are sure this is a message coming from the hard drives? I get several
of these messages on my XP but every time I check, the drive tends to
point to one of my digital card reader drives or USB flash drive.

Ah Ha! It's not internal Samsung b/u hdd. Disk Management shows hdd2 it's
my (digital camera's) card reader and hdd3 is my Seagate FreeAgent Portable
external drive.
Did the card reader come with a driver disk? I have no idea. It's been 3
years and two computers ago. The portable hdd did not come with a cd. I
can install the management program
that was already on the drive but chose not to. I don't know if that would
install drivers or not. I've since run both usb devices and checked the
event viewer...no warnings. Who knows!

Unless Error Reports repeat there is no point in trying to resolve a
problem, which probably does not exist. The first thing to try when you get
a problem should always be to restart the computer. This resolves many
problems.
