event viewer shows this...

[no name]

I apologize if this isn't the right group for this question.


My computer freezes every once in a while, often while scaning.
This is what I get from Event Viewer...

Event ID: 7000
Source: Service Control Manager

Description: The REGSpy /or FILESpy/ service failed to strat due to the
following error: The system cannot find the file specified.

I have read articles about this issue, but haven't figured out how to fix
it. I am using Windows Defender beta2 and Bit Defender 9 plus pro and I think
these are the services from that program. I also haven't found the info I
need on their web page.

I do not believe that Windows Defender beta2 and Bit Defender 9 plus pro
have anything to do with REGSpy /or FILESpy/ service.

Open Services and look for REGSpy and/or FILESpy services.

Start | Run | Type: services.msc | Click OK |

If you locate them, double click and look at Path to executable to see what
the .exe is/are.
