When I look at my event viewer Application Log, there are plenty of entries
with red crosses next to them but *my PC works just fine*. I don't
understand
what the entries mean. Often there is something about an Internet log - eg
P3-40.1db, IAMDB.rdb - being corrupt and having been deleted. That seems to
happen alot.

An alarming looking yellow triangle told me that:
'WMI ADAP was unable to load the Spooler performance library because it
returned an invalid return code: 0x80041001'

It's rather like reading a book on medical symptoms and wondering where you
picked up beri-beri because your legs are looking a bit swollen today.

What are the sort of messages that are worth taking notice of.
