Event Procedure - Stuck !?

I am trying to :-
Click Event - InputBox with text to be entered -
then a table is searched for all instances of the text -
Do not have enough coding knowledge to achieve this, as I have not used VB
for a few years now. Any help would be most welcome.
I would also be grateful for any recommended books re code for Access, or
just examples
