Hi

Can somone guide me ...one of our customer sites the Windows 2000 dc has
stopped logging in the system events so I was advised that I could stop
event log service and delete the system evt file after stopping the service
but I cant even stop the service is that the right way to start a new event
log file....can anyone please guide me.

Boot to the Recovery Console and delete the log(s).
