I have a Windows 2000 Server with Exchange 2000 on it. While working on
Exchange this morning we rebooted the server. Upon reboot, Windows is no
longer writing anything to the Event logs. When we look in the
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG directory, the .EVT files are there but they are
not being updated. The SYSTEM, SYSTEM.ALT, SOFTWARE, and SECURITY files are
all being updated but none of the EVT files.

Any thoughts?

Event Log Service / COM+ Event System Service disabled?
