Event ID 7022 The Distributed Link Tracking Client service hung on starting.
I am wondering what this event is, if it is a onetime sort of problem for a
windows 2000 workstation, or if it needs help soon.

event id 7022 is a generic event .. more about this on
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=7022&eventno=111&source=Service Control Manager&phase=1

but I'm pretty sure that you can stop this service on a normal workstation.
