Event ID 6004

I've recently started getting this error in my event logs

A driver packet received from the I/O subsystem was
invalid.

There is only one other error that is just after this
error that appears

Event ID 7001

The Remote Access Connection Manager service depends on
the Telephony service which failed to start because of the
following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is
disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated
with it.

Anyone know what might be going on here?

I get like one Event 6004 and then a 7001, and then
multiple 6004's again.

I got this on a Windows NT 4 Server box after I installed 823803 when 823803
first came out. It have since then been re-done so that this error will not
occur. This error will only occurr on bixes running Windows NT 4 (so I
thought) that are using Remote Access and VPN. If this is what happened to
you - re-install the newer version of 823803 that came out. Reboot - and
everything should be okay.
