Hi , all
I found how to get read of the DNS error event ID 4004 & 4015 , follow these
steps :
if you have installed AD using Dcprom , the dcpromo create the .(root) zone
and when you need to use the forwords option as microsoft recommendation fro
internet names resoluation you will always get the 4004 & 4015 error log in
event viewer , to solve this problem and stop these events do the following
:
1. create a .(root) zone file
2. right click the .(root) name and select proprites
3. change the zone into a primray zone insted of the integrated AD zone type
4. delete the .(root) zone
this will stop the 4004 & 4015 error in event viewer
