Event ID 26

Sometimes on Word, Excel, etc. I get the message "Application Error Event ID
26...Memory could not be read".

What exactly is the problem when I get this error message? Does it have to
do with the program (word, etc.) or is it a Windows error?

Check out www.eventid.net and do a search on event id 26. They have a
listing there pretaining to your problem with a number of possible solutions.
