I'd get a copy of the watson log to the application developer or check the
ATI web site FAQs for clues. If that's what you're asking.

I checked the Dr watson log, it was last modified 4/18/06 !!

I do have to admit that my few wierd-O's have been since I up-graded my
video to ATI. I've tried all the drivers from there CD and the latest from
there web site, same things happen. Other than try there latest drivers, they
say nothing.

From the Run box;
drwtsn32 -i
to re-enable drwtsn32.exe as the default debugger.

Just guessing but probably not the driver. More likely the junk catalyst
software that comes in the ATI box.

I don't even use any of the extras, I bought the ATI (AIW 9600XT) because it
was a reasonable 128 mem card.
Do you know of any way to make this card stable?

D

Dave Patrick

You'll probably want to learn more about the problem. These may help with
that.

Thanks for the info. Dave.

In your professional opinion what agp card would be stable?

D

Dave Patrick

I'm now using an Nvidia. I was using an ATI Radeon with another build which
also worked well (without the catalyst stuff) Ati2evxx.exe is not part of
the driver. It is a non-essential configuration utility. Scrap it or maybe
upgrade it if it causes you problems.
